QUALIFIED  DIESEL  MECHANIC – SWAN  HILL

Johnson’s Truck & Coach Service is an Authorized Dealer for Mack, UD, Volvo & Hino Trucks along with Southern Cross Trailers with branches in Mildura, Broken Hill and Swan Hill. We are now seeking Qualified Diesel Mechanics to join our Swan Hill Branch.

The role is min 40hrs per week (overtime & callout roster may be required at times)

To be successful in the position, you will have:

  • Relevant Heavy Vehicle trade certificate
  • Strong mechanical knowledge & skills
  • Must be competent and able to perform high quality repairs/servicing & maintenance to all heavy vehicles and trailers in standard operating times
  • Able to be team leader & provide technical support to apprentices
  • Experience on either Mack, UD, Volvo, Hino trucks would be an advantage
  • Computer literate
  • The ability to communicate effectively both written & verbally
  • Committed to complying with all OH&S procedures
  • Must have manual drivers license & forklift license. HR license would be an advantage.

The annual salary can range from $59,000 to $85,000 (negotiable on experience) , and employees can also have access to training & development opportunities to help reach them reach full potential.

PARTS  INTERPRETER – SWAN  HILL

What you will be responsible for:

  • Source required parts to satisfy customer demand
  • Picking, Receipting & invoicing parts purchased & sold
  • Convert customer inquiry into sales
  • Provide accurate records & ensure they are maintained
  • Putting stock away & stock shelves to correct levels
  • Ability to promote & up sell products
  • Achieve growth & profitability targets
  • Ensure customer service & satisfaction is maintained at high standards
  • Must have manual drivers license & forklift license

To be successful in the position, you will have:

  • Have experience in parts sales & good mechanical knowledge (preferably with trucks)
  • Attention to detail & strong organisation skills
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written & verbally

We have a position available for an enthusiastic Boilermaker to join our Mildura Branch.

  • General Welding
  • Manufacturing new trailers

  • Have extensive experience with Steel, Alloy, MIG, TIG welding

APPRENTICE  BOILERMAKER – MILDURA

Due to growth we are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a 1st year Apprentice boilermaker, based at our Mildura branch.

Working closely with qualified and experienced tradespeople you will gain valuable skills & knowledge to secure your trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade).

This apprenticeship involves on the job training combined with formal study with an accredited training provider. As an Apprentice Boilermaker you will assist qualified tradespeople in all areas of metal fabrication including new truck fit ups, trailer repairs, manufacturing new trailers and general welding/mechanics repairs

About You:

  • Genuine and keen interest to learn the trade
  • A Mechanical Aptitude
  • Ability to follow direction with excellent attention to detail

  • Completion of Year 10
